Thanks for the detailed response! Mine's the Glam trim with 58174 KM on the clock, and I just had it serviced last month. Haven't noticed any hesitation during acceleration, but the speedometer does occasionally flicker a bit when the warning lights come on. Your sensor issue sounds pretty similar to what I'm experiencing, I'll definitely get it checked out at the workshop. Did you have any issues with the active hood system when your sensor was acting up? Just wondering if that's connected somehow.

Hey again! Yeah, I can totally relate to those flickering issues you're describing, had something similar with my Corsa. Actually, when my sensor was acting up, I did notice some weird behavior with the active hood system. The warning lights would sometimes trigger together, just like what you're experiencing. In my case, the acceleration sensor was somehow interfering with multiple systems, including the active hood. My mechanic explained that these newer Vauxhalls have really interconnected safety systems, when one sensor goes wonky, it can trigger all sorts of warnings. Since you mentioned yours has similar symptoms to what I had, it's probably the same issue. The good news is that once they replaced my sensor, everything went back to normal, no more warning lights, no flickering speedometer, and the active hood system worked properly again. Given that your Adam is just a couple years newer than my Corsa and they share a lot of similar electronics, I'd bet you're dealing with the same problem. Quick heads up though, make sure to mention the flickering speedometer when you take it in. That detail helped my mechanic pinpoint the issue faster. Keep us posted on what they find!

Thanks so much for all this information! It's really reassuring to hear that you had such a similar experience and got it sorted without any major hassles. I've just booked my Adam in at the local workshop for next Tuesday, definitely going to mention the flickering speedometer and everything else we've discussed. Will make sure they check that acceleration sensor first thing. Really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, it's helped me feel a lot less worried about the whole situation. I'll try to remember to update this thread once I get it fixed, might help someone else down the line with the same issue!

Hey there! I had a similar issue with my 2017 Vauxhall Corsa (I have some experience working on cars, but mostly basic maintenance stuff). Those warning lights drove me crazy! Turned out it was a faulty acceleration sensor, apparently, these sensors can trigger multiple warning lights when they go bad. My local workshop diagnosed it and replaced the sensor. Cost me around 315€ including labor, but it fixed all the warning lights and everything's been working perfectly since then. Which trim level is your Adam, and have you noticed any other symptoms? Like hesitation during acceleration or irregular speedometer readings? This info would help me share more specific details about what to look out for. Pro tip: Don't ignore those warning lights, it's better to get it checked out sooner rather than later!
