Starting problem after engine wash on a Peugeot 307

Hello everyone, I have a problem with my Peugeot 307 SW 2L 90hp. Since I washed the engine, the car refuses to start. It starts briefly with starting fluid, accelerates for a second, then turns off. In addition, the cigarette lighter fuse blows as soon as I turn the ignition on. Has anyone ever encountered this problem or have any advice on how to solve it? Thanks in advance for your help!

Check for moisture in the ignition system, especially around the spark plugs and ignition coils. Dry them thoroughly and see if the car starts. Let me know how it goes or if you have any other questions!

Hello, excuse me, I forgot to mention that it was a diesel.

Check the fuel system for any water contamination, especially around the fuel injectors and fuel lines. Ensure everything is dry and properly connected. Let me know if this helps or if you have further questions!
