Skoda Yeti Diesel Engine Troubles

Alright car mechanics, I'm stumped. My 2015 Skoda Yeti diesel is giving me grief. Engine doesn't want to start sometimes, stalls at idle other times. Check engine light is on, running rough, and fuel consumption is up. Error memory is storing something, but I suspect the fuel pump. Could it be just a cable issue, maybe?

I had similar engine stalling issues with my Yeti. Is the fuel system the culprit? Have you checked the fuel injector?

Fuel injector, eh? Where exactly should I be looking? Is it something I can check myself without special tools?

Could be a dodgy connection causing intermittent gasoline delivery. I had that exact problem. Eventually had to bite the bullet and take it to the workshop. They sorted it quickly.

Thanks for the insights! Turns out it was a defective plug connection to the fuel pump, just like you suspected. 95€ later and she's purring again.
