Thanks for the quick reply! I poked around a little, but didn't want to mess with anything too much near the airbag system itself. When you say 'connections,' do you mean where the wires plug into the airbag module itself, or somewhere else?

The connections I was referring to are the ones under the front seats that connect to the seat occupancy sensors and side airbags. It is possible the issue is with the main airbag module, but messing with those connections can be risky if you aren't experienced. I advise that you take your car to a workshop, just to be safe and avoid accidental airbag deployment. They can properly diagnose the issue and fix it for you.

That's almost exactly what happened to me! The local garage fixed the airbag light issue. The final bill was 95€. Thanks so much for your help!

I had a similar issue in my Skoda Superb. The airbag warning light was constantly on. It could be a faulty connection. A defective cable or plug connection is a common cause. Have you tried checking the connections under the seats? Sometimes they come loose.
