Skoda Scala Headlight Washer System Issue

I am experiencing a fault with the headlight cleaning system on my 2020 Skoda Scala, diesel engine. The windshield washer system is also no longer functional. Is it conceivable that a defective cable connection of the pump or relay could be the root cause of this issue?

Interesting. I had a similar malfunction with my Scala's headlight cleaning system not long ago. Did you notice any leak, perhaps around the pump area? And does the windshield washer also fail to operate?

A leak, you say? I hadn't considered that. Yes, the windshield washer is also non-operational. Could this be related? Is it possible a faulty hose impacts both?

Indeed, both systems stopped working simultaneously for me. It points to a common component. I'd suggest having the connections checked and perhaps the pump itself. To save yourself the headache, consider visiting a workshop.

Appreciate the confirmation. Took it to the workshop as suggested. Turns out the cable connection to the pump was defective, as suspected. Repair cost 165€. Headlight cleaning and windshield washer now functional.
