Skoda Roomster Automatic Transmission Problem

My 2014 Skoda Roomster with a gasoline engine is giving me grief. It's got 126721 km on the clock and the automatic transmission seems to be acting up. Sometimes the transmission indicator light comes on and it doesn't shift right. It feels like it's stuck in emergency mode. Could worn-out transmission oil be the reason for this? It feels like the car transmission is slipping.

Good question. I'm not sure about the transmission fluid change. I've owned the car for three years and haven't done it. Should I consider a transmission flush? I have read about it. The car battery is original, could this cause the automatic transmission to behave like this?

Just letting you know the garage confirmed it. Undervoltage was causing the transmission issue. They fixed it, the bill was 240€, and now it shifts perfectly. Thanks for the advice!
