Fuel injector connections, you say? Interesting. Was it visibly damaged, or how did you diagnose that?

I'm no car mechanics expert, but the symptoms sure sound similar. I didn't catch it myself; the workshop diagnosed it. They said the connection was loose and corroded, causing intermittent pump failure and all the associated issues. Might be worth a look before replacing the whole pump. Wouldn't it be nice if it was just that simple?

It was indeed a defective plug connection, just like the error memory suggested. 95€ later, she's purring like a kitten. Thanks for the input!

Sounds familiar! I had a similar problem with my Rapid. Engine stalling, check engine light... the whole shebang. Have you checked the fuel injector connections? That was my culprit. Is the fuel system otherwise working fine?
