Skoda Octavia Hybrid engine issues

My Skoda Octavia Hybrid is giving me serious grief. Check engine light's on, it stalls at idle, and the engine power is totally nerfed. I suspect the fuel pressure regulator is borked because there was an error entry after I changed the fuel filter. Could that be the reason for engine misfire?

I experienced similar symptoms with my Octavia. Check engine light, engine stall, and reduced power. Did you perhaps check the pressure sensor on the fuel system? Is the fuel pump working correctly?

Fuel system pressure sensor, eh? Where exactly is that located, and could that really cause the engine misfire and rough idle I'm dealing with?

Indeed, it could be the pressure sensor. A faulty sensor can cause all those issues. However, I would recommend you visit a workshop to get a proper diagnosis. It could be the fuel pump.

Just wanted to say thanks for the input! Turns out it was a faulty fuel pressure regulator after I swapped the fuel filter. Cost me 45€ for a new one. Sorted the engine misfire and rough idle right out. Crazy how such a small thing can cause so much grief!
