I am experiencing issues with the defrost air distribution flap on my 2019 Skoda Octavia with a gasoline engine (mileage: 52838 km). An error is stored in the error memory, and the heating output is insufficient. Based on preliminary diagnostics, the likely cause is a defective cable or plug connection to the component. Has anyone encountered a similar problem with the ventilation system or heater core in their Octavia?

I had a similar issue with my Octavia's ventilation system. The windshield was constantly fogging up, and the heater output was noticeably low. Did you check the blower motor resistor? Sometimes that can cause air distribution problems even if the blower motor itself seems to be working fine.
