Yep, communication fault is spot on. You mentioned a similar thing... What exactly went wrong with yours? Was it a software glitch or something more physical?

Yeah, definitely sounds like the same gremlin. For me, it ended up being a corroded connector on the control unit. The diagnostic trouble code kept pointing to a communication fault. I chased my tail with software and all sorts until the workshop found it. Get the multimeter out or take it in, save yourself the grief!

I owe you a beer! It was a dodgy plug on the control module, just like you said. 95€ and it's running smoothly again. I was terrified it was the turbo!

Whoa, overheating on a Kodiaq? Sounds nasty. I had a similar thing with mine, though no coolant spill. Check Engine Light city! I bet you've got some diagnostic trouble code spitting out a communication fault, right? What does VCDS say?
