Skoda Kodiaq Diesel Overheating Issue

I'm cheesed off. My 2023 Skoda Kodiaq diesel is playing up. Mileage is at 184549 km. The check engine light is on, the engine's overheating, and there's coolant everywhere after what sounds like a pressure release. I'm guessing it's this control unit. Could it be a cable or plug connection?

Yep, communication fault is spot on. You mentioned a similar thing... What exactly went wrong with yours? Was it a software glitch or something more physical?

Yeah, definitely sounds like the same gremlin. For me, it ended up being a corroded connector on the control unit. The diagnostic trouble code kept pointing to a communication fault. I chased my tail with software and all sorts until the workshop found it. Get the multimeter out or take it in, save yourself the grief!

I owe you a beer! It was a dodgy plug on the control module, just like you said. 95€ and it's running smoothly again. I was terrified it was the turbo!
