Škoda Karoq check engine light is on

Hey guys, I have a problem with my 2017 Skoda Karoq petrol engine. The car is really giving me the runaround. Black smoke from the exhaust when accelerating, engine light on, loss of power, irregular engine running, jerking when accelerating, poor fuel consumption - it's all there. I suspect that it could have something to do with the lambda sensor heater. Has anyone ever experienced something like this and is more familiar with it? How did you sort it out in the workshop? I'm grateful for any tips!

Hello, I had a similar problem with my Skoda Yeti 2010. I would classify my experience with cars as limited. My garage discovered that the engine control unit in my Yeti was faulty. It was replaced with a new one, which cost me 1000 euros. So that I can help you better, I would need some more information about your vehicle. What about normal maintenance?
