Skoda Kamiq Height Control Issue

My 2023 Skoda Kamiq with a diesel engine is giving me some grief. The speedometer is showing a warning light, and the low beams are either pointing way down or way up. It feels like I'm constantly hitting bumps, and I've noticed the front sits lower than the rear. The error memory mentions something about 'height control restricted'. Could a defective control rod on the leveling sensor cause all this? It feels like riding a seesaw!

Sounds like a leveling sensor issue. I had a similar problem with my Skoda Kamiq. Is the air suspension working properly? Check the control module. It could be sending incorrect signals.

Air suspension? The Kamiq doesn't have air suspension, it's just standard. Where exactly is the control module for the height adjustment located? And how would I check if it's sending the right signals?

My mistake about the air suspension. I got ahead of myself. I'd still suspect the leveling sensor. If the ride is bumpy, and the height is off, it's the most likely culprit. Without proper diagnostic tools, checking the control module's signals is difficult. It sounds like you're past the point of simple fixes. I'd recommend getting it to a workshop.

Just wanted to say thanks! It was indeed the control rod on the leveling sensor. Replaced it for 110€ and the Kamiq is riding smoothly again. No more warning lights either!
