Skoda Kamiq Diesel Engine Stalling Issue

My 2019 Skoda Kamiq with a diesel engine is acting up. 129348 km on the clock. The check engine light is on, and the engine stalls at idle. I've noticed reduced engine power. I suspect a defective fuel regulator after recently changing the fuel filter. Any ideas?

I had something similar with my Octavia. Rough idle and loss of power. Check engine light was on too. Could be the fuel system. Did you check the fuel pump relay?

Fuel pump relay? I didn't. Where is that located and how can I check it?

Yeah, the relay. But if it's stalling and losing power, it's more likely the fuel regulator itself or something with the fuel rail pressure. I'd get the fuel pressure checked professionally at a workshop if I were you.

It was the fuel pressure regulator. The error showed up after I changed the fuel filter. I replaced it myself for 45€, and it runs fine now. Thanks for the advice.
