Skoda Fabia Engine Trouble

I'm at my wit's end with my 2023 Skoda Fabia gasoline engine. It's got 42050 km on it, and lately, the engine's been running really unevenly. The check engine light is on, and I'm getting jerking when accelerating. I've read the error memory and there are some errors stored. Could this be a sign of something serious?

Rough idle and jerking, huh? First thing that comes to mind is, have you checked your air filter lately? A clogged filter can sometimes cause those kinds of problems. When was the last time you replaced it? It could also be something fuel-related. Are you using good quality fuel, or have you been filling up at some dodgy gas stations?

Interesting points. Regarding the fuel, always premium. As for the air filter, I've replaced it recently. Any ideas what else could cause the rough idle, check engine light, and jerking, especially if it's not the air filter? Could it be the fuel injectors or even the crankshaft sensor?

Okay, premium fuel and new air filter rules those out, I guess. Since the check engine light is on, and you're getting an error code, it's probably best to get it checked by a professional, right? It does sound like it could be something like a faulty fuel injector or a bad crankshaft sensor, but without proper diagnostics, it's just guesswork. Actually, now that you mention those symptoms alongside the stored error, have you checked for exhaust leaks? They can cause engine misfires and a rough idle.

You were right, it was a leak in the exhaust system. Got it fixed for 265€. Runs like new again. Thanks for your help.
