Vacuum leak affecting fuel pressure regulator? How's that work exactly?

A leak can cause a pressure drop in the fuel system, messing with the air-fuel mixture. You'll get engine misfire, rough idle, and reduced fuel efficiency. But since you touched the fuel filter, the regulator is a prime suspect. If you're not sure, a workshop can check the fuel pressure.

Cheers for the help. Turns out it was the fuel pressure regulator. Replaced it for 45€. Runs smooth now.

I had something similar with my Skoda Octavia. Check engine light and rough idle can point to a vacuum leak. Worth a look before you dig too deep.
