Skoda Citigo-e IV Driving Mode Errors

My 2020 Skoda Citigo-e IV Electric has started acting up. I'm getting sporadic errors in driving mode, and sometimes the error lamps light up for no reason. Also, the audio/navigation keeps failing. Sometimes, the control units seem to shut down or become unresponsive. I ran an engine diagnostics with a scan tool, and it shows errors stored in the error memory. Any ideas?

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my old Renault Megane. Sporadic warning light, the malfunction indicator would come on and off, and the radio would just die sometimes. I ran a scan tool, and it kept throwing up errors related to the central control module. Check the BUS system. It might be a bad connection or a faulty module.

BUS system? What exactly am I looking for? Where is it located, and what did you do to fix it?

The BUS system is basically the communication network for all the electronic components in the car. On the Megane, the connections were corroded. I didn't fix it myself; I'm not that skilled. I took it to a workshop. They found the faulty connection and replaced the wiring harness. Best to have a professional look at it if you're not comfortable with electrics.

Took the Citigo to the workshop. They found a defective cable connection to the control unit, like you suggested. They fixed it for 155€. Everything seems to be working again. Thanks for your help.
