Thanks for the reply. I did check the fuses, they seem fine. The Bluetooth is completely dead, won't even show up on my phone. When you say 'similar', do you mean you also had to replace the whole display unit? Was it a costly repair?

Yes, unfortunately, it ended up being the display unit itself. The garage initially suspected faulty wiring or a problem with the volume control, but the diagnostic pointed to the display. Given the error stored in the memory, it does sound very similar to what I went through. I'd recommend getting a second opinion from a reputable workshop, but be prepared for the worst.

Thank you very much for your advice! I took it to a workshop and they confirmed it was indeed the display unit. The repair cost me 725€, but at least my audio system is now working properly again. I appreciate your help!

I have a Citigo too, and I experienced something similar. My audio system would randomly cut out, and sometimes there was a speaker crackle even when the volume was turned down. Have you checked the fuses? Also, does your Bluetooth connect without problems, or is that acting up as well? It could be a faulty wiring issue, which is surprisingly common in these cars, or perhaps something is interfering with the dashboard controls.
