Hi! Appreciate your input - gonna have a look at the valve cable connection as a possible culprit. My Pathfinder's been driven for only about 15727 km, and so far, no heavy repairs, just the routine service stuff. Fingers crossed it's just a small problem and not something major! Thanks again for your suggestion.

Hey again,! Oh, with such low mileage, it feels even more like it could be a minor issue. It's a good thing that it hasn't had any major work yet, that generally rules out mishandling or botched repairs. You know, it feels like these modern cars can sometimes have a mind of their own. My Rogue once faced this weird transmission issue and the Valentine at my local auto place figured out it was all due to a loose wire that was messing around with the signals. Can you believe that? Anyways, if you've been regularly servicing your Pathfinder and you haven't been thrashing your ride too hard, it's unlikely that your transmission cooler is the root of all evil - assuming it's just not external damage. But well, having a thorough check up on your ride is always a good call. Don’t forget to ask your local garage dude to check also the Transmission Control Module (TCM). Sometimes these electronic dinguses decide to go all funky and it could be causing your transmission to act out. Either way, let me know how it goes . It'll be interesting to find out what was causing all that kerfuffle in the end. Good luck to you!

Hey, You're right about modern cars and their complicated ways. I'll definitely ask my mechanic to inspect the Transmission Control Module (TCM) too - great shout! It's odd with the low mileage and all. Your experience with the loose wire issue reassures me that it might just be a small bug, nothing massive. Will keep you posted on the developments after the checkup. Fingers double-crossed it's nothing serious! Thanks for your help!

Hey there,! I've got a 2019 Nissan Rogue, which is pretty alike your Pathfinder. I've dealt with a similar situation, and I'm not a guru but I reckon I got some car experience. Essentially, I thought it was the transmission oil cooler too, but turns out it was a defective valve cable connection. Took my Rogue to the local garage and explained the whole deal. They were super helpful, took a look at it and confirmed what the issue was. Cost me around 170 Euro and it's been as smooth as butter ever since! Just out of curiosity, what's your mileage and has the car been under any recent repairs? It'd help me get a better read on your situation and mayhaps offer some more perspective. Hope this info helps!
