Hey folks, I'm having a bit of a puzzler with my 2021 Nissan Pathfinder, gasoline engine model. Recently, there's been some funky stuff happening - the transmission is slipping and shifting haphazardly, gears are grinding when I shift, and to top it off, there's an annoying whine or grind noise that's bugged me. I'm suspecting it might be related to a malfunction in the transmission oil pressure cooler, but I'm no expert. Has anyone else faced this issue? Any suggestions on trouble-shooting this or how you got your Pathfinder fixed at the shop? Appreciate any experiences or tips you might have.

Hey there,! I've got a 2019 Nissan Rogue, which is pretty alike your Pathfinder. I've dealt with a similar situation, and I'm not a guru but I reckon I got some car experience. Essentially, I thought it was the transmission oil cooler too, but turns out it was a defective valve cable connection. Took my Rogue to the local garage and explained the whole deal. They were super helpful, took a look at it and confirmed what the issue was. Cost me around 170 Euro and it's been as smooth as butter ever since! Just out of curiosity, what's your mileage and has the car been under any recent repairs? It'd help me get a better read on your situation and mayhaps offer some more perspective.
