Hey! Thanks for sharing your experience. My Verso just clocked 225,874 km on the odometer and I got it serviced not too long ago. I overlooked getting any error codes then, though. Guess I'm going to revisit the workshop soon. Good shout on bringing this up, never thought the issue could be related to a defective servomotor. Let’s hope that it won’t cost me as much as it did for you. Cheers!

No problem at all, happy to help! Spot on getting those error codes checked should definitely give you a clear picture. And yes, fingers crossed it's not a defective servomotor; can be quite a pinch on the pocket if it is! Also, props to you for maintaining your Verso so well - over 225k km and still going strong, that's impressive! Let us know how it goes at the workshop and if you need more tips or suggestions. Good luck with the fix!

Appreciate your kind words and the advice. Yup, the old Verso's still got some miles in her! I'll get those codes checked, fingers crossed it's nothing too expensive. I'll drop an update once I hit the workshop. Thanks again for the help, you're a star! Enjoy your day!

Hey there! I've got some experience with a similar issue - I had a defective servomotor in the headlight on my 2011 Toyota Auris, pretty much like your Verso. I'd say I've got some car fixing experience under my belt, though I'm far from being an expert. My local workshop took care of it - they're generally good guys, trustworthy, and all. The repair set me back about 1040€, though. Bit steep, but then, it did fix the problem. May I ask if you've had the car checked for any error codes? That could shed more light on your issue; might even be the same thing I dealt with. The more details you can share about your car, the better.
