Wow, that's interesting and a tad comforting, to be honest! So, your Linea's problem was basically that sensor playing up and causing all that chaos, huh? Sounds like something straight out of a car thriller! You're right, I guess I should get that IAT sensor checked ASAP. Just curious, do you recall how much it set you back? And ever since you replaced it, did your ride spring any other surprises on you? I'd appreciate your reply. Thanks. It's always nice to find someone in the community who's dealt with a similar issue. Wonder if anyone else has any input on this. This whole situation got me wishing I paid more attention in auto repair class.

Hey! Glad to hear my experience could help comfort you a bit! Yes, it was literally that sneaky sensor causing all the mayhem. It felt like the sensor was a villain in a car drama movie, right? Indeed, having that IAT sensor checked out pronto is a good idea. Regarding the cost, it wasn't as steep as you might think. It set me back a cool 155.0€ to nip that issue in the bud. Since getting it fixed, the ride's been smooth sailing - no surprises there, touch wood! The faulty signal from the intake air temperature sensor was taken care of by the mechanic, and my trusty Fiat's been behaving well ever since. Good luck with getting your Croma back on track. It can be a pain dealing with these car issues, but hey, that's why we've got each other in this community to share such practical experiences, right? Maybe next time you might share some car hacks you learnt which could help us in return! Take care and keep us posted on how things pan out.

And it's so uplifting to know that your Fiat’s been up and running great after getting through that IAT sensor problem! Just hoping that my Croma follows suit after the repair. Hey! Funny enough, I had a similar issue with my 2013 Fiat Linea a while back but, yeah, your hunch about the Intake Air Temperature sensor might be onto something. The same red flags showed up for me - the engine light flickering, the gas mileage dropping, and my ride jerked like no tomorrow. I hightailed it to my usual garage, and they ended up confirming that issue with the IAT sensor. Apparently, a faulty sensor can throw off the fuel mixture, because the engine doesn't get correct information about the air temp. This can lead to all the symptoms you're reporting. The good news? It's not as difficult to deal with as it may seem. In my case, the mechanic had to replace the faulty sensor, and things got back to normal. It wasn't anything major that could wreck the engine, so you might want to check out that IAT sensor after all. Cheers. Hope you get it sorted soon!
