Hey, appreciate the quick response! That's really insightful about the secondary air valve/air pump issue. I'll definitely ask my mechanic to check on that. About the mileage, my Mobi has run a total of 193923 km. Honestly, it's quite a lot considering it's just a 2019 model, isn't it? And the last service, well, that was done recently, but the issue persists. No significant previous issues as such except routine maintenance stuff. Will keep you posted on any updates from my mechanic. Thanks for the help, really!

Hey, no problem at all! Wow, 193923 km is a lot for a car that's just a couple of years old. Sounds like this little Mobi has seen some serious action, huh? Given the high mileage, it could well be age-related wear and tear that's causing these problems. That said, your mechanic should be able to pinpoint the issue with a proper diagnostic tool. If it really is the air valve or air pump, you can expect a similar repair cost to what I had. Please do keep me posted about how it goes. I'm interested to hear how things pan out for you. Take care and good luck with the fix!

Cheers! Yes, my Mobi and I definitely have had some crazy road trips together! I'm really hoping it's just an air valve issue and not something more serious. 95 Euro seems acceptable for now. Fingers crossed, it doesn't go beyond that. I'll definitely keep you updated. Thanks so much for your insight! Take care!

Hey there! I can kinda relate to your issue. As a person with some mechanic experience, I had quite a similar situation with my 2017 Fiat Panda, just a slightly older model, right? Kept throwing up the check engine light and guzzling fuel too. Turned out, the issue was the secondary air valve/air pump. Apparently, the cable or plug connection was on the fritz. Quite a common problem, now that I think about it. With the help of my workshop we were able to resolve it. The cable/plug connection was replaced and everything's been going smoothly since. Cost me about 95€, including labor. Felt like quite a deal, TBH. However, every car, every model can be slightly different, so take it to a good mechanic. They would know best. BTW, could you share more details about the car – like mileage, last service, any previous issues? That might help pinpoint the exact problem and guide you better. Good luck!
