Hey, thanks for the info! Do you remember how much you paid for the repair? And has anything else happened since then? Best regards,

Hey, sure, I still remember. The repair cost €155 at the time. The mechanic replaced the faulty plug and the defective cable connections, and since then my car has not had any more problems related to the injectors. The fault with the "incorrect function of an injector" was completely rectified. Everything is now running smoothly again and without any further incidents. Hopefully this will help you and your Ibiza will soon be running smoothly again! Best regards,

Hey guys, thanks for your answers. Last week I went to my mechanic, armed with your advice. He actually found a faulty plug and loose wires on one of the injectors. After he replaced everything and secured it properly, my Ibiza is running smoothly again. The damage cost me €200, but now the engine is purring again without any problems. Thanks again for your help, without you I wouldn't have known where to start. Hopefully my Ibiza will remain worry-free for now! Kind regards,

Servus, I also had a similar problem once. However, it wasn't the injectors that were defective (they were checked) but the glow plugs. It cost me around €400 to have them replaced.

Hello Jonte, Have you ever tried to read out the vehicle with a diagnostic tool? Are there any errors stored here?

Hey, I had similar problems with my 2012 Seat Leon Diesel. The symptoms were almost identical: black smoke from the exhaust, check engine light, loss of power and rough engine. At my garage, the problem was actually a faulty plug/cable connection on one of the injectors. The mechanic replaced the plug and checked and secured the cable connections. This solved all the problems mentioned. I would advise you to have the plugs and cable connections of the injectors checked. This was no small matter for me, as the injection system is sensitive, but it solved the problem completely. Good luck and hopefully it's nothing serious! Best regards,
