Problems with timing chain and engine running in Opel Corsa E

Hello everyone, I have a 2015 Opel Corsa with 193,000 km and am struggling with a few problems: The check engine light is on, the engine is running rough, the engine power is reduced, the engine is difficult to start and sometimes stalls on its own. I suspect that it could be due to a timing chain elongation or breakage, as I hear rattling noises when starting. Now the car has stalled while driving and can only be started with a jerking noise. Do any of you have experience of such problems with the Corsa E X15? Or does anyone have any ideas as to what could be causing the problem and how I can fix it? Many thanks in advance for your help and best regards!

It's important to address this issue promptly as it could be safety-related. Start by checking the engine oil level and condition, as low or dirty oil can affect the timing chain and cause rattling noises. If the oil level is fine, consider inspecting the timing chain tensioner for wear or failure. If you're not comfortable with these checks, it's best to have a professional mechanic inspect the vehicle. Let me know how it goes or if you have any further questions!
