Problems with the engine control light and loss of power in Opel Crossland 2019 - suspected cause: tank ventilation/DMTL valve

Hey guys, I have problem with my Opel Crossland (year 2019, gasoline engine). The check engine light comes on, the engine loses power and runs rough, my car jerks when accelerating, and it stalls idling and shakes when idling. I suspect the problem could be with the tank vent/DMTL valve. Does anyone have any experience with this issue? Have your visits to the workshop been successful? What exactly was done and how did the troubleshooting go? Any help is welcome!

Hi, I had a similar problem with my Opel Grandland (built in 2017, also a gasoline engine). My experience with cars is limited, but I have experienced quite a few things. In my case, it was the engine control unit that was faulty, although this is quite rare. The garage replaced it and it worked fine. The repair cost me 1000.0 euros.
