Hey, I have a problem with my Seat Ibiza Diesel (2019 model year). When accelerating, black smoke comes out of the exhaust, the check engine light is on, I feel a loss of power from the engine and the DPF doesn't seem to be regenerating properly. Hey, I totally understand you. I had a similar problem with my Seat Leon Diesel (2017 model year). I also had the check engine light come on and the car lost power. To make a long story short: I have some experience with cars, but I'm not a professional. I went to my garage at the time and ended up having to have the diesel particulate filter (DPF) replaced due to excessive mileage. It cost me a hefty 1550 euros, but everything worked again afterwards. But there could also be other causes, it's difficult to say without seeing your car in detail. Have you ever had the fault memory of your Ibiza read out? That would be my next step if the check engine light comes on. And another tip by the way: Drive a longer stretch at higher engine speeds so that the DPF can regenerate due to the higher exhaust gas temperature. This can sometimes work wonders.
