Problems with low battery and flickering lights on Renault Master Diesel 2022

Hi guys, I have an unusual problem with my 2022 Renault Master Diesel. When I start the engine, the battery seems to be low and my lights flicker or dim. I thought it might be the emergency battery of the emergency call system, but I'm not sure. Have any of you ever had a similar problem and if so, how did you get it fixed at the garage? What experiences have you had? Many thanks for your tips!

Hi mate, I had a similar problem with my 2020 Renault Trafic Diesel. My car knowledge is rather mediocre, but maybe my experience can help you anyway. I went to my local garage at the time and they realized that the emergency battery was completely discharged. After they replaced it for 110 euros, everything was fine again. It could be a similar problem for you. Could you perhaps tell us a little more about your vehicle? Mileage, battery type, etc.? Maybe then I can help you better. Good luck, buddy!

Hi, thanks for your quick reply! My Renault already has 55610 km on the clock and the last service was only recently carried out. Do you know if a battery like this is normally checked at the service or is it not usual? I would have thought it would be ok as I've just had it serviced. Maybe they should have mentioned it if the battery is about to give up the ghost. What do you think?

Hello again! You're welcome, I'll help where I can. Usually when they do a regular service, they don't specifically check the emergency battery of the emergency call system, but rather the main battery of the car. Honestly, I think they should have told you that if the battery was about to fail, but sometimes you can just overlook things like that. I would suggest maybe going back to your garage and telling them explicitly. Hopefully that will solve your problem. Let us know if it worked. Good luck again!

Hi, thanks again for your helpful advice! I also thought that the garage would have to check this. I'll go straight there tomorrow and raise the issue. I hope it's just the battery and nothing more serious. I'll definitely give you an update! See you then.
