Hello, I have a problem with my 2014 Polo, petrol engine. The engine light is on, the performance drops, the revs fluctuate and it twitches when accelerating. Occasionally it also stops idling and shudders. I have a feeling that it may be the fuel tank vent valve. Have any of you ever had similar symptoms and can perhaps give me a few tips on what I could do next? It would be particularly helpful to know how this was solved in the workshop. Thanks in advance!

Hi, I once had a similar problem with my 2012 Golf, I only have a bit of experience with cars but I took my car to the garage to have it checked. They found that the plug/cable from the valve was faulty. The repair cost me 95 euros. Could you please give me more information about your car, for example: mileage, last service etc.? Then I might be able to tell you more.
