Power windows dead after battery replacement

Window reset procedure? I'm not sure what that is. Is it something I can do myself, or am I going to need special equipment? Fuses seem okay, I checked the diagram in the manual and they all look good.

Yes, it's the same issue I experienced. The window regulator needs to be initialized, but it often requires specific diagnostic tools. It's similar to how a computer sometimes needs a driver update after a system change. Unfortunately, you will likely need to visit a workshop to get it sorted.

You were totally right! Took it to the shop, and they confirmed it was the window regulator needing a reset after the battery swap. Cost me 290€, but at least my windows are working again. Thanks a bunch for your help!

I had a similar issue with my Countryman after replacing the battery. The power windows stopped working, and an error code popped up. Did you try the window reset procedure? Sometimes, the system needs to relearn the window positions. Have you checked the fuses related to the power windows?
