Thanks for sharing your experience! My Panamera just hit 52544 KM and had its last service two months ago. That's really helpful to know about the cable connection, sounds less scary than I initially thought. Haven't taken it to a workshop yet, but I'm considering either the Porsche Centre downtown or AutoMax (they specialize in German cars). Did your Cayenne have any issues after the repair? This is the first time I'm seeing these warning lights, and I'm hoping it's just a wiring issue like yours.

Hey again! Following up on my Cayenne experience, after getting that wiring connection fixed, it's been running perfectly smooth. No warning lights or issues since then. I took mine to an independent Porsche specialist (similar to your AutoMax option) and they did a great job. Looking at your mileage (52544 KM), that's actually pretty similar to when my issue popped up, mine was around 58000 KM. These problems sometimes show up around this mileage range in these models, but honestly, it's usually just the connection getting loose over time. If you're choosing between Porsche Centre and AutoMax, both should be fine, but I saved quite a bit going with the specialist. Just make sure they have experience with Cayennes and Panameras. The main thing is getting someone who knows these specific models well. Quick tip though, get them to check the entire wiring harness while they're at it. Sometimes there can be wear in other spots too. Better to catch it all at once! Let me know how it goes, curious to hear if it's the same issue as mine.

Hello again! Thanks so much for all the detailed info! Really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. After hearing about your successful repair at a specialist, I think I'll go with AutoMax, I've heard good things about them, and the potential cost savings are definitely appealing. You make a great point about checking the entire wiring harness, I'll definitely ask them to do that. I'll book an appointment for next week and let you know how it turns out. Fingers crossed it's just a simple wiring issue like yours! Thanks again for all your help, it's really put my mind at ease knowing someone else has dealt with this and got it sorted without any major drama.

Hey there! I had a similar issue with my 2016 Cayenne Diesel last year, pretty much identical warning lights popping up. I have some experience working on cars, but this was definitely a workshop job. Turned out it was just a faulty cable connection to the steering angle sensor. Got it fixed at my local Porsche specialist, cost me around €155. The repair itself wasn't too complicated once they identified the issue, they basically had to replace the wiring connection. Which dealer/workshop have you taken it to so far? Also, how many miles are on your Panamera? This info might help me share more relevant details about what to expect.
