Hi, great, thanks for your quick reply and the tip! Sounds really similar to my problem, which is why I was worried that it could be the fuel pump. I'm glad to hear that the garage helped so quickly. Do you happen to remember what you had to pay for it? And have you had any additional problems since then or has it been fixed since then? Thanks again! Best regards!

Hello, no problem, you're welcome! I paid a total of €45 for the software update that corrected the incorrect fuel pump values. Since I had this done, the pump has been working perfectly again. No jerking, no rough running, simply perfect. So yes, the problem was completely fixed after I went to the mechanic. Good luck with your Astra! Best regards!

Hi, great, thanks for the additional information. I'm relieved that the costs are so manageable. Then I'll probably go to the garage soon and have it checked. It's good to hear that everything was back to normal for you. I hope my Astra will be the same. Thanks again for your help! Best regards!

Hi, the camshaft sensor on my Astra was out of order - my car would occasionally just stall when I drove up to a junction or something. I then had to try to start it several times - sometimes without success. The sensor cost 50 stones and took 15 minutes to fit. MfG

Hi, I recently had exactly the same problem with my 2015 Opel Corsa. The symptoms are very similar to yours. The engine light was also on and I had a loss of power and jerking when accelerating. In my case, the software values for the fuel pump were incorrect. The garage fixed it with a software update. It was a pretty serious matter, because the pump can break if the values are incorrect. So, don't wait too long and take your car to the garage. Most of the time the guys there had everything under control and they were able to solve the problem without too much complication. Good luck with your Astra!
