Hey, thanks for the tip! That could actually be the case with my Peugeot Expert. Stupid question, but can you remember how much it cost you to get it fixed by your mechanic? And have you had any other incidents with the sat nav or similar since then? Many thanks in advance!

Hi, yes, of course I still remember. I paid the mechanic €165 to repair the cable connection between the control unit and the display. It wasn't a penny, but since then the problem with the screen failing on the navigation system has been blown away. So from my point of view, it was definitely worth the money. It's fair to say that there hasn't been another incident with the navigation system since. So don't worry, if it really is the problem, everything should work again after the repair. Good luck, dude!

Hey, that's really helpful, thanks! I'll contact my mechanic and discuss this option with him. I hope that it won't be too expensive and that everything will work for me again afterwards. Your experience definitely gives me hope. I will keep you up to date. Thanks again and see you then!

Hello, I had a similar problem with my 2018 Peugeot 508 Diesel. In my case, it was the cable connection between the control unit and the display that was faulty. It was quite a challenge to diagnose because the symptoms were similar to yours and it took a very long time to make a determination. Fortunately, my mechanic recognized the fault after a few tests and was able to replace the cable connection. I can also give you the tip that you should not ignore the problem, as it can lead to further electrical problems. It was definitely not a small problem, but my mechanic managed it. Hope you find a good solution for your Peugeot too! Good luck!
