Mini Roadster Sunroof Problems After Coding

In my case, it wasn't just the sunroof; the windows were acting up too. Given that the problem arose directly after the coding, it strongly suggests a corrupted module. It's like messing up the operating system on a computer. While there might be some DIY solutions, I'd recommend taking it to a workshop with the proper diagnostic tools. They can likely re-initialize the sunroof control module.

I did check the fuses, and they seem fine. The issues started right after the coding session, yes. When you say the 'electrics went haywire', what exactly happened Did it affect other things besides the sunroof operation

Big thanks I took your advice and went to a local independent garage. Turns out, the sunroof control module needed a reset after some coding work messed things up. They sorted it out for 75€. Everything's working perfectly again now Phew

That sounds like a frustrating problem. I had a similar issue with my old Volvo, although the symptoms were slightly different. The electrics went haywire after some tinkering with the ECU. Have you tried any basic troubleshooting steps, like checking fuses related to the sunroof mechanism Did the problems start immediately after the coding
