Mini Roadster AdBlue Issue

Injection system, huh? Where exactly would I find that on the Mini, and is it something I could potentially check myself, or am I better off just taking it to a mechanic?

Yeah, probably best to get it checked by someone who knows their stuff. On my Roadster, the issue was indeed the AdBlue system – the output from the tank was faulty. If the error memory mentions AdBlue and the car won't start, it's highly likely that's the culprit. Could be a faulty sensor as well, but a proper diagnostic will pinpoint it. No matter what, get the car going again!

Just wanted to let you know, I took the Mini to a workshop, and you were spot on. Seems the AdBlue output from the tank to the dosing unit was indeed defective. Cost me around 250€ to fix, which I guess isn't too bad. Thanks for the help!

Sounds like an AdBlue issue alright. I had a similar problem with my Mini Roadster a while back. Same symptoms: error message, engine refusing to start. Have you checked the AdBlue injection system? Maybe something is clogged or the pump is failing.
