Hey, thanks for the answer! My battery is about 2 years old. I haven't measured the voltage yet, but will check it out. My Mini Cooper has just reached 104567 km. Let's see if it might also be the control unit. Could it also be the alternator or the generator? Greetings

Hey, on my Mini Cooper it was actually the alternator. It was probably no longer charging properly and the battery kept discharging as a result. The symptoms in my case were also poor starting and flickering lights. After the workshop replaced the alternator, the problems were gone and the cost was around 400 euros. I would recommend that you have the alternator and generator checked. If the battery is OK and has enough voltage, then it could well be due to one of these parts. Good luck with your troubleshooting and keep us posted on what you end up with! Greetings

Hey, thanks for the tip! I'll probably have the alternator and generator checked first. Hopefully I'll finally be able to solve the problem. I'll definitely update you when I know more. Keep your fingers crossed for me! Greetings

Hey, I had a similar problem with my 2014 Mini Cooper S. The engine was difficult to start and the lights flickered. In my case, the control unit was defective. At my garage, they replaced the control unit and the problems were then resolved. The whole thing cost me 600 euros. How old is your battery? Have you ever measured the voltage? If you have more information, I may be able to help you better. Greetings
