Thanks for the tip! Where exactly should I be looking for these vacuum hoses? Are they easy to spot, and is there a specific area I should focus on in my Mini Paceman?

Just wanted to give an update. The problem was indeed with a defective hose connection from the pump to the air valve. Total cost was 175€ to fix. Thanks for the help!

I had similar check engine light issues on my older Opel due to a vacuum leak. Check all your vacuum hoses for cracks or loose connections. Sometimes it's a simple fix. Does the engine stall or have idle problems?
