Mini One fault code and error messages

Alright, so my 2005 Mini One diesel is throwing a fault code, and I'm seeing error messages popping up in both the infotainment system and the speedometer. The car has km on the clock. From what I've been able to gather, the likely cause is incorrect vehicle coding. Has anyone else run into this? Is this something that a simple control module reset might fix, or am I looking at a more involved repair?

Just wanted to close the loop on this. Took the Mini to a local shop that specializes in European cars. They confirmed the incorrect coding on the control module using their scan tool, and after they recoded everything, the fault code and error messages are gone. Cost me 360€, but at least it's sorted.
