Mini One automatic transmission issues

Anyone else having car transmission issues with their 2008 Mini One? Mine's got km on the clock and the automatic transmission is giving me grief. It's shifting all kinds of wrong, the transmission indicator light is on, and it's gone into emergency mode a couple of times. The automatic transmission doesn't shift as usual.

Sounds familiar. I had similar transmission problems with my Mini One. The car transmission was acting up, and the transmission indicator light kept popping on. I remember being super frustrated. Have you checked the hydraulic fluid level? Low fluid can cause weird shifting. A transmission flush might help too.

Fluid level is ok, I already checked it. So, your Mini did the same? Emergency mode and all? What did you end up doing to fix your car transmission?

Yeah, emergency mode was a pain. Seriously annoying. In the end, I took it to a workshop. They diagnosed it as a transmission oil issue, probably worn out. They recommended a full transmission flush and new hydraulic fluid. Worth getting it checked out properly.

Thanks for the help! Turns out it was undervoltage causing the transmission to freak out. Got it sorted for 240€. New transmission oil and a flush fixed the implausible shifting behavior.
