Thanks for the quick response! I haven't checked the fuel filter yet, but that's a good suggestion. Did you also get an error code stored in the memory? And did you notice any difference after using fuel additives or changing fuel brands?

Yes, I did have an error code stored. I experimented with fuel additives, but they didn't resolve the issue. Ultimately, it turned out to be a faulty connection, just like your report suggests. I would advise against prolonged troubleshooting and head straight to the workshop; it will save you time and potential headaches.

A huge thank you for sharing your experience! I took my Countryman to the workshop, and they confirmed it was a faulty connection, just as you suspected. The repair set me back 95€, but now my engine runs smoothly again. No more check engine light or stalling! I'll definitely be more mindful of fuel quality moving forward.

I also have a Countryman, and I experienced something similar not too long ago. The check engine light illuminated, and the engine would occasionally stall at idle. I was quite concerned about the fuel mixture. Have you considered checking your fuel filter? Sometimes a clogged filter can cause issues with fuel delivery.
