Mini Cooper Windshield Heater Problem

I'm experiencing a windshield heater malfunction on my electric 2022 Mini Cooper. An error is stored in the error memory, and the spray nozzles freeze at cold temperatures. The likely cause is a defective cable or plug connection to the heating element.

I had a similar issue with my Mini Cooper's windshield heater. Have you checked the fuse box? A blown fuse could also be the culprit.

Yes, that sounds exactly like what happened to mine. I would suggest getting it checked at the workshop. They will be able to pinpoint the exact problem with the heating element.

Many thanks for the advice. The workshop confirmed the cable or plug connection to the windshield heater was defective. Repair cost was 95€.
