Interesting. I haven't checked the battery specifically, but I did run engine diagnostics and there was an error stored in the memory. What do you mean by 'navigation went bonkers'? What exactly happened? And did your warning signal come up?

Yeah, by 'navigation went bonkers,' I mean it would show me driving in a field when I was clearly on the highway. And yes, the warning signal definitely popped up. Honestly, it sounds like you might have a bigger problem than just the battery. I'd suggest taking it to a workshop and having them check the BUS system connections. That's what fixed it for me.

Just wanted to follow up. Took your advice and brought it in. They found a defective cable connection to the BUS system, just like you said! Cost me about 155€, but everything is working perfectly now. No more warning lights, and all the systems are back online. Thanks again for the help!

Whoa, that sounds frustrating! I had something similar happen in my Mini. Check engine light would come on out of nowhere, and the radio would just die sometimes. Even the navigation went bonkers once. Did you try checking the battery? Sometimes a weak battery can cause weird electrical issues.
