Thanks for your quick reply! So, you mentioned the front airbag sensors. Do you recall exactly which connections you inspected, or perhaps where they are located? I want to be absolutely sure I'm checking the right spots, and I don't want to mess anything up, especially when it comes to vehicle safety and airbag deployment.

Yes, I was referring to the crash sensors at the front. Sorry, I don't recall the exact location. In my case, I wasn't able to fix it myself. Considering it involves the airbag system, which is crucial for vehicle safety, I'd recommend taking your Mini Cooper to a workshop. They can properly diagnose and resolve the issue. It's better to be safe than sorry when it comes to airbags and the SRS light.

Many thanks for your assistance! It seems you were spot-on. I took my Mini Cooper to a local workshop, and after a thorough diagnostic check, it turned out to be a faulty connection in one of the crash sensors as you suspected. The repair cost me 95€, which is quite reasonable. I'm glad it wasn't anything more serious, and now the SRS light is finally off!

That sounds frustrating! I actually had a similar issue with my Mini Cooper a while back. The SRS light kept coming on, and it was quite unnerving. Have you checked the connections to the airbag sensor, especially the ones near the front of the car? Those can sometimes become loose or corroded, causing a false reading. It might be worth a look before you start replacing parts.
