Mini Clubman Tire Pressure Warning

Thanks! I'm not really a car guy. Where exactly is the air valve located, and how would I check if the sensor is faulty? Is that something I can do myself, or am I better off just taking my Mini Clubman to a workshop?

The air valve is part of the TPMS sensor inside the tire. You can't really check it without removing the tire. Based on what you're saying, especially with the error code, it does sound like the sensor battery is likely dead. It's a common problem. I'd suggest taking your Clubman to a workshop; they can confirm it and replace the sensor for you.

Just wanted to give you an update. Took my Clubman to the workshop, and you were spot on! They confirmed it was the tire pressure sensor. Replaced it, and the error is gone. Cost me 280€, which I guess is the price you pay. Thanks a bunch for your help!

Sounds like a TPMS issue. I had something similar with my Mini Cooper. The air pressure warning kept popping up, even though my tires were properly inflated. Have you checked the air valve itself? It might be worth a look. Maybe the sensor is faulty, though it could be something else entirely.
