Thank you for your response. I appreciate you sharing your experience with your Peugeot. Could you elaborate on how the battery issue specifically affected your car's start-stop system? Did it also store an error in the error memory?

Yes, it did store an error code related to low voltage. The start-stop system relies heavily on a healthy car battery. When the voltage drops below a certain threshold, the system disables itself to prevent further strain on the electrical components and ensure the engine can restart reliably. In my case, replacing the car battery resolved the issue completely. Given your symptoms and error code, I recommend having the battery professionally tested. It is likely the culprit.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Based on your advice, I took my Mini Cabrio to the workshop. They confirmed that the car battery was indeed defective. After replacing it, the start-stop system is now functioning correctly. The total cost amounted to 290€, as initially indicated.

I experienced a similar issue with the start-stop system in my previous vehicle, a Peugeot. The engine stalled intermittently, and a warning light illuminated on the dashboard. Have you checked the car battery's voltage? A heavily discharged or defective battery is a common cause for start-stop malfunctions.
