Mini Cabrio Fault Memory Lock Active

My 2012 Mini Cabrio, the gasoline one, is throwing a 'Fault memory lock active' error. I've got an error stored in the error memory. I'm guessing it's undervoltage but any ideas? Anyone ever dealt with this kind of control unit headache before?

Sounds like what happened with my Mini Cabrio too. Did you notice any other weird electrical glitches? Things like the interior lights flickering or the radio acting up? Could be a sign that it's not just a one-time fluke.

Interesting. No flickering lights or radio issues, but the error stored in the error memory keeps popping up even after I clear the fault codes. Does that sound familiar?

Yep, sounds exactly like mine. The fault codes kept coming back even after clearing them. Eventually, the control unit needed a reset. To save yourself a headache, I'd get it to a workshop. ECU diagnostics will be your friend here. Think of it like a stubborn computer that needs a proper reboot.

Took it to a shop, ECU diagnostics showed undervoltage caused the fault memory lock. The computer system reset and some error clearing set me back 240€. Appreciate the help!
