Hey, yes, I can still remember it well. After I went to the mechanic, the screen failure of the navigation system was actually fixed. It cost me a total of €165. It was because the cable connection between the control unit and the display was faulty - it was probably a bad connection that was causing problems. Since the repair, I have had no more problems with the navigation system. It works perfectly again without any failures. I hope it works just as smoothly for you! Best regards!

Hey guys, thanks for your feedback! I took the plunge myself last week and went to the mechanic. During the check, he found that the cable to the display was damaged in a few places. For me, this meant: new wiring and replacement of the defective cable. It cost me a total of €210. Sure, it's not a bargain, but it had to be done. Since then the navigation system has been running like clockwork again, no more failures. So, if anyone has similar problems, it's worth having the cables checked. It might save you a lot of stress. Best regards!

Hello specialists, I've been having a problem with the central display for several weeks with my 2017 GLA220d. Càd, the screen turns on with delay (radio, GPS, rear view camera, etc,.,.) more and more often and it is rather annoying to wait 5à10minutes for it to start working. Your comments are most welcome, thank you in advance.

It sounds like you might be experiencing a software issue. Try resetting the infotainment system to its factory settings. If this doesn't work, it could be a hardware issue, such as a faulty control unit or a loose connection. In this case, I would recommend taking your car to a mechanic for a proper diagnosis. Please let us know how it goes.

Hi, I have the message " no gps" on my navigation causing it to stop navigating. Have a 2015 Mercedes GLA
This could be due to a few reasons. It might be a software glitch, in which case, try resetting your navigation system. If that doesn't work, it could be a problem with the GPS antenna or the navigation module. I would recommend taking your car to a mechanic for a proper diagnosis. Please keep us updated on your progress.

Hi, I have the message " no gps" on my navigation causing it to stop navigating. Have a 2015 Mercedes GLA
My 2015 GLA 45 AMG center console system (navigtation, radio, etc.) keeps rebooting every 20 or so seconds. I took it to the Mercedes dealer who said if would cost more than $6,000.00 to replace it and it would take a long time to order and get the new system. They said there was no way to fix it. I bought the car new, have low miles and does anyone know a way to fix it or did I buy the wrong car in the wrong year?
Hey, I had a similar problem with my 2018 Mercedes A-Class. In my case, the cable connection between the control unit and the display was defective, which led to a poor connection. This meant that the display often didn't work at all or only worked sporadically. The mechanic discovered that a cable was loose and partially damaged. It had to be replaced and rewired. Not a huge problem, but definitely annoying. After the repair, everything worked perfectly again. Hope this helps you! Best regards!
