Hello everyone, I own a Toyota Yaris with an automatic transmission and I've been experiencing a jerky acceleration problem. Once, the car had trouble starting and I had to insist. Furthermore, after starting, when I need to pull away after a stop or roundabout, I press the accelerator but the car doesn't want to move forward. It eventually accelerates abruptly after pressing all the way down. Does anyone have an idea of the cause of this problem? Thanks in advance for your help.

Start by checking the transmission fluid level and condition. Low or dirty transmission fluid can cause jerky acceleration and delayed response. Make sure the fluid is at the correct level and appears clean. If it's low or dirty, consider having it changed. Let me know how it goes or if you have any further questions!
