Hey, thanks for your answer. Your experience sounds really laborious. Do you remember roughly what you paid to the garage? And has anything else come up since you replaced the control unit? I'd be interested to know so that I'm prepared if it ends up like this with my Vito. Thanks again!

Hey, sure, I still remember it well. It was quite a lot of money, I had to pay €880 to the garage. I was really annoyed, but since then at least the indicators have been working without any problems. So it was worth it and I haven't had any further concerns since. With such an older model, things can always go wrong, unfortunately you have to be prepared for that. But since replacing the control unit, nothing new has appeared on my Sprinter. I hope your Vito doesn't have any more problems!

Thanks for the info! Wow, €880 is quite a lot, but if it fixes the problem then I guess it would be worth the investment. Now I'm reasonably reassured as I know what to expect if it's the control unit. I'll take my Vito to the garage tomorrow and hope it's nothing major. Thanks again for your help!

Hello everyone, Did you get rid of your problem? I would also have the alternator checked if you have this fault, so that it doesn't cause a problem due to different voltages. I had the same problem with my old E Class. Greetings Daniel

Hello, I once had similar problems with my 2010 Mercedes Sprinter. It wasn't the blinker, but the control unit itself, which was defective. Had to be completely removed in the workshop and a new one fitted. Quite an annoying process, but in the end it fixed the light problem. It was quite a hassle and took a few days, but at least my lights are no longer dancing. Hope this helps, good luck with your Vito!
