Hi everyone, I'm experiencing a puzzling issue with my BMW 7. After driving, if I park and let the car sit idle, all the coolant leaks out, leaving the tank empty. A mechanic replaced the radiator fan, thinking it wasn't activating when the engine got hot, but that didn't solve the problem. There are no visible signs of broken or damaged tubes. I'm at a loss as to what's causing the engine to overheat and the coolant to leak. Has anyone experienced something similar or have any insights on what might be causing this?

Check the coolant reservoir cap to ensure it's sealing properly. A faulty cap can cause coolant to escape as steam, leading to leaks and overheating. If the cap seems fine, inspect the area around the water pump for any signs of leakage. Let me know how it goes or if you have any further questions!
