Thanks for sharing your experience with the faulty air suspension. It definitely sounds identical to what I am experiencing. My Grand Voyager is also showing all those warning lights and the uneven suspension is getting worse. After reading about your wiring harness issue, I had the local shop check the connections to the suspension pump first. They found some exposed wires near the compressor, but wanted a second opinion before proceeding with repairs. Did you notice any other problems develop later on? Would be helpful to know what I might be facing down the road. Also, mind sharing what the total repair cost was for fixing the load leveling system? Just trying to budget appropriately since air struts and related suspension components can get expensive.

Since getting the wiring fixed on my Town & Country, the air suspension system has worked flawlessly. The mechanic discovered a damaged cable connection at the compressor, similar to what your shop found. The repair was straightforward, just 95€ to fix the electrical connection, which is much better than replacing the entire air suspension compressor. The suspension system now maintains proper ride height on all corners, and all warning lights have disappeared. Most importantly, the headlight alignment returned to normal once the vehicle was level again. I have not experienced any additional air suspension issues in the months since the repair. Good call having them check the wiring first. Many shops jump straight to replacing expensive suspension components when the issue is often just a failed electrical connection. Air leaks or faulty air struts would typically show different symptoms, like rapid deflation or air pump running constantly. If the exposed wires your mechanic found are similar to what caused my problems, you should be looking at a relatively simple and affordable fix rather than major suspension work.

Thanks for the helpful advice. I finally got the suspension issue resolved! After getting a second opinion, I took it to a shop that specializes in air suspension systems. They confirmed it was mainly an electrical issue, the wiring harness near the compressor was damaged and causing the malfunction. The repair cost came to 180€ total, including diagnostic testing and labor. They fixed the exposed wires, checked all the air struts for leaks, and recalibrated the entire suspension system. The vehicle now sits perfectly level again and all the warning lights are gone. The headlights are properly aligned now that the suspension height is correct. The ride quality is back to normal and the car handles great. Really glad I had them investigate the wiring before replacing any major components. The whole repair process took about 4 hours and they even did a full system check afterward to ensure everything was working properly. For anyone else facing similar air suspension problems, definitely worth finding a specialist shop that understands these systems. What seemed like a potentially expensive repair turned out to be a relatively straightforward fix.

Had the exact same issue on my 2012 Town & Country diesel. The symptoms you describe perfectly match what happened, uneven ride height, warning lights, and misaligned headlights all point to air suspension system problems. The root cause turned out to be a damaged wiring harness connecting to the air compressor. Over time, the cables had worn through, causing intermittent electrical connection issues. This prevented proper air strut operation and threw off the entire suspension system balance. This is actually a serious issue that needs immediate attention. Driving with compromised air suspension can lead to uneven tire wear and potentially dangerous handling characteristics, especially during emergency maneuvers. The repair involved: Complete diagnostic scan of the air suspension system, Testing the compressor and air struts for leaks, Replacing the damaged wiring harness, Recalibrating ride height sensors, Full system reset Would strongly suggest finding a shop specializing in air suspension repairs. Generic mechanics often lack the specific diagnostic equipment and experience needed for these systems. The symptoms indicate your compressor failure might be electrical rather than mechanical, worth checking the wiring connections first before replacing expensive components.
