Thanks for the answer, really helpful! Can you remember how much you paid for the repair? And have there been any other problems with the window regulators or anything else since then? I just want to be sure before I go to my garage.

Hey, no problem, always happy to help! I paid €130 to have the window regulator switch repaired. Since the visit to the mechanic, the window regulator has been running like clockwork and there have been no further malfunctions. So, don't worry, have it checked at the garage. Better safe than sorry, right?

Great, that reassures me a lot! I'll do the same and take the car to the garage. 130 is definitely less painful than constant problems with the power windows. It's not just about the money, but also about safety, which is the most important thing for me. Thanks for the help, you really made my day!

Hey, I drive a Skoda Superb myself (petrol, 2013) and had the same problem. The electric windows were spinning around. It was a pretty serious problem because I could no longer close the car properly in the rain. The solution was to replace the entire power window module. So, I would advise you to take your car to the garage and have them have a look at it. Hope that helps you.
